My passion and mission is to truly better this breed, and the world of raising dogs at large.

You are choosing a program that values correct puppy placement and the long-term success of the dogs we produce. 

I believe that excellent pedigree, genetics, health and balanced temperament should be a given when looking for your next companion. When you choose a puppy from Sugartop, you are choosing to also get a fully socialized and started pup who is ready to seamlessly enter your life. 

Beginning with our parents dogs; I fully train and test each parent dog on, and off our property, in a myriad of settings. It is my goal to prove all my dogs socially and in the show and sport rings, this ensures I have a clear and true understanding of what they and their progeny can offer. 

It is my standard to fully asses each puppy we produce so I may match each into the homes they will best thrive in. I treat each puppy as an individual. Carefully taking notes and evaluating each pup from birth, keeping in mind you, and your needs; so that at selection day we know who your best options are.   

Our puppies go home with extensive crate training exposure, handling, tactile surfaces, weekly water "baths" and grooming, emphasis on paw and nail desensitization, sound desensitization, living with and around children, farm animals and our busy household. In addition to being  fully temperament tested at seven weeks. We work with our babies several times a day so that when they go home with you they are confident and ready to take on the world.
